Collection: Hemoglobin Boost

About Hemoglobin Boost

Whole-food sources of dietary iron, paired with the vitamin C that actually lets your body absorb it.

The Thing Most People Get Wrong

Plant iron (non-heme) absorbs poorly on its own, sometimes as little as 5%. Vitamin C can multiply that several times over. Iron and vitamin C in the same meal is not a nice extra; it is the whole mechanism.

That is why our Hemoglobin Powder combines beetroot (iron) with prickly pear and hibiscus (vitamin C) rather than iron alone.

What Blocks Iron Absorption

This matters more than which supplement you choose:

  • Tea and coffee: tannins bind iron. Keep them at least an hour from meals and supplements
  • Calcium supplements and milk: space them two hours apart
  • Antacids: stomach acid is needed for iron absorption

The habit of chai with or straight after a meal undoes more iron supplementation in India than anything else.

The Products

Why Whole Food Instead of Iron Tablets

Synthetic ferrous salts are effective but notorious for constipation, nausea and a metallic aftertaste, which is why so many people stop taking them. Whole-food iron is gentler and far easier to sustain.

If your doctor has prescribed iron for diagnosed anaemia, keep taking it and treat this as dietary support alongside.

Give It 8–12 Weeks, Then Test

Red blood cells take time to form. Get your haemoglobin tested before starting and again after three months. That is the only real answer, not how you feel.

Anaemia Needs a Diagnosis

There are several causes and they are treated differently. Persistent fatigue, breathlessness, dizziness or pallor should be investigated by a doctor, not self-managed with supplements.
