About Gut Health & Digestion

Ayurvedic herbs for digestion, bloating and regularity: the category Ayurveda considers the foundation of everything else.

Why Ayurveda Starts Here

Ayurveda calls digestive strength agni, and treats it as the root of health generally. Skin, energy, immunity and weight all trace back to it. That is why the same herbs turn up in the skin and detox collections too.

Not Laxatives

Nothing here is a stimulant laxative. Senna-based products force the bowel to contract, and the bowel adapts, which is how dependence develops.

Triphala is traditionally described as a bowel tonic: taken daily for years in Ayurveda without that problem. That is a meaningful difference if you have been relying on something stronger.

What to Take

Timing Changes What It Does

Triphala at night → digestion and regularity.
Triphala in the morning → detox and skin.
Same powder, different purpose. Pick one goal and stay consistent.

If the Taste Is the Problem

Soak a teaspoon in room-temperature water overnight, strain in the morning, and drink the liquid. Far gentler and much easier to keep up.

When to See a Doctor

Chronic constipation, blood in stool, unexplained weight loss, or a persistent change in bowel habit needs medical assessment, not indefinite management with any powder.
