Collection: Natural Body Detox

About Natural Body Detox

Ayurvedic herbs that support the body's own detoxification systems: liver, kidneys, gut and lymph.

What Detox Actually Means Here

Let us be straight about this: your liver and kidneys already detoxify you, continuously, whether you buy anything or not. No powder "flushes toxins" out of a healthy body.

What these herbs do is support those organs doing their normal work, and support regular elimination, because detoxification without elimination achieves nothing.

That is a smaller claim than most detox marketing makes. It is also the true one.

No Senna, No Crash Cleanses

Nothing in this collection is a stimulant laxative. Senna-based "detox teas" work by irritating the bowel, and the bowel adapts, which is how dependence develops. Triphala and the herbs here are traditionally taken long term precisely because they do not do that.

The Herbs

  • Neem: the classic bitter blood-purifying herb, traditionally used for skin
  • Giloy (guduchi): immunity and liver support
  • Manjistha: the specific herb for lymphatic and blood cleansing
  • Triphala: supports regular elimination
  • Wheatgrass: chlorophyll for liver support

Ready blend: Body Detox Blood Purifier.

How to Do It Properly

Course length: 4–8 weeks, then a break. Not continuous year-round.
Drink plenty of water. Detox herbs need fluid to carry anything out, without it you are just adding fibre.
Expect bitterness. Neem is one of the most bitter things in the Ayurvedic cabinet.

Most people take this seasonally, at the change of weather.

Skin Usually Comes Last

If clear skin is your goal, allow 6–8 weeks. Digestion responds in days; skin responds in months. Persistent or cystic acne should be seen by a dermatologist rather than managed with herbs.

Food supplements, not medicines. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. People with autoimmune conditions should avoid giloy. It is immunostimulating.
