Collection: Blood Sugar Management

About Blood Sugar Management

Ayurvedic herbs traditionally used as dietary support for healthy blood sugar levels: bitter gourd, jamun seed, gudmar, fenugreek and stevia.

Please Read Before Ordering

Everything in this collection is a food supplement, not a medicine. Nothing here treats or cures diabetes, and nothing here replaces prescribed medication or insulin.

If you take glucose-lowering medication, tell your doctor before starting any of these. These herbs can lower blood sugar, and that effect stacks with medication, which means a real risk of hypoglycaemia. Monitor your levels closely for the first few weeks.

Never reduce prescribed medication on your own. That decision belongs to your doctor, based on your test results.

Used alongside medical care, diet and movement, herbal support has a place. Used instead of it, people lose eyesight, kidneys and limbs to a manageable condition.

What Each Herb Does

  • Karela (bitter gourd): contains polypeptide-p, studied for insulin-like activity
  • Jamun seed: jamboline, traditionally associated with slowing starch-to-sugar conversion
  • Gudmar: "sugar destroyer" in Sanskrit; the classic herb for sweet cravings
  • Methi (fenugreek): soluble fibre that slows glucose absorption after meals
  • Stevia: zero-calorie sweetener with no blood sugar impact

Where to Start

Simplest: Karela Jamun Powder, the classic two-herb pairing.
Broader formula: Diabetes Support Supplement, adds gudmar and methi.
For the sugar itself: Stevia leaf.

How to Measure Whether It Is Working

Not by how you feel. Get an HbA1c or fasting glucose test before starting, and again after 8–12 weeks. That number is the only honest answer.

Expect it to be bitter. Karela and gudmar are meant to be, the bitterness is the active principle.
