Multi Flora Honey | Organic Honey

Multi Flora Honey is raw, unheated and unfiltered honey collected from bees foraging across mixed wildflower and crop blossoms around Nisarg Organic Farm in Gujarat, India. Because the nectar comes from many flower sources rather than one, multiflora honey carries a fuller, more layered flavour and a broader natural nutrient profile than single-origin honey. No sugar syrup, no glucose, no heating, no pasteurisation.

What Makes This Honey Raw

• Unheated — commercial honey is heated to stop crystallisation and speed bottling. Heat destroys natural enzymes. Ours is not heated.
• Unfiltered — only coarse-strained to remove wax and debris, so the natural pollen stays in.
• No sugar syrup — a large share of retail honey in India and abroad is adulterated with invert sugar or rice syrup. This is not.
• Own farm hives — traceable to our own organically managed land, not bought from a bulk aggregator.
• Natural crystallisation — this honey will granulate in cool weather. That is proof it is real, not a fault.

How to Use

• 1 teaspoon in warm (not boiling) water with lemon in the morning.
• As a natural sweetener in tea, milk, curd, oats or smoothies.
• With ginger or tulsi for a traditional throat-soothing remedy.
• Drizzled on toast, fruit, or used in salad dressings and marinades.
• In DIY face packs with besan or multani mitti.

Important: never add honey to boiling water or cook it at high heat — Ayurveda specifically advises against heating honey, and heat degrades its natural enzymes.

My honey has crystallised — has it gone bad?

No. Crystallisation is a natural property of raw, unadulterated honey and is one of the easiest home tests for purity. Stand the jar in warm (not hot) water to re-liquefy it.

What is multiflora honey?

Honey made from nectar of many different flowering plants rather than a single species. It has a richer, more complex taste and varies slightly batch to batch — exactly as natural honey should.

How can I tell if honey is pure?

Real raw honey crystallises over time, has a natural aroma that changes by season, and is never perfectly uniform in colour across batches. Perfectly clear, always-runny, identical honey is usually processed or blended.

Is honey safe for babies?

Never give honey to a child under 12 months, due to the risk of infant botulism. This applies to all honey, raw or processed.

Can diabetics eat honey?

Honey still raises blood sugar. If you are diabetic, treat it as a sugar and speak to your doctor before including it.
