Payment & Currency
We accept PayPal as well as international credit and debit cards. PayPal is usually the easiest option for customers outside India.
All prices on this website are shown in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹), including for international orders. Whichever payment method you choose, PayPal or your bank converts the amount into your local currency at their prevailing exchange rate, and that converted amount is what appears on your statement. Your bank may also apply a foreign transaction fee. This is charged by them, not by us.

Food, Herbal & Agricultural Product Restrictions

Tracking Your Order
Once your parcel is dispatched, you will receive an email with your DHL Express tracking number. You can track your shipment door-to-door on the DHL website at any time.
Packaging
International orders are packed for long-haul transit, sealed, cushioned and protected against moisture. Liquids such as ghee, honey and syrups receive additional leak-proof packing.
Damaged or Missing Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number, photographs of the product and photographs of the outer packaging. Our full terms are set out in our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

Natural Hair Shampoo Powder is a herbal hair wash made from shikakai, reetha (soapnut), amla and supporting herbs, no SLS, no SLES, no parabens, no synthetic fragrance. It cleans the scalp using the natural saponins in reetha rather than petroleum-derived detergents, which is why hair feels clean without that stripped, squeaky-dry finish.
Why Switch From Bottled Shampoo
- No sulphates: the ingredient responsible for most dryness, colour fade and scalp irritation.
- Cleans with natural saponins from reetha, which foam gently rather than aggressively.
- Conditions while it cleans: shikakai is traditionally used to soften and detangle.
- Supports scalp health: amla and herbs traditionally used for flaking and itchiness.
- Safe with henna and natural colour: will not strip herbal colour the way sulphate shampoo does.

How to Use
- Mix 2–3 tablespoons of powder with warm water into a thin, lump-free paste. Rest 10 minutes.
- Wet your hair thoroughly.
- Apply to the scalp first, massage with fingertips, then work down the lengths.
- Leave 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with plain water.
Expect less lather. This is normal and correct. Lather comes from sulphates, not from cleaning power. Your hair will feel different for the first 2–3 washes as the scalp rebalances after years of detergent.
Ingredients
A blend of organic shikakai, reetha (soapnut), amla and complementary herbs. No chemicals, no preservatives, no artificial colour or fragrance. Vegan.
Available Sizes
100 g, 200 g, 500 g and 1 kg. At 2–3 tablespoons per wash, a 200 g pouch covers roughly 10–12 washes.
Who Is This For
Anyone with a sensitive or flaky scalp, people whose hair is dry or brittle from chemical shampoo, anyone using henna or natural hair colour, and families moving away from chemical personal care.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it lather like normal shampoo?
No, and it should not. Foam is produced by sulphates. Reetha gives a soft, low lather that still cleans properly.
How often can I use it?
Two to three times a week, like any shampoo. It is gentle enough for more frequent use if needed.
Will it fade my hair colour?
It is far gentler on colour than sulphate shampoo, which is exactly why people using henna and indigo switch to it.
My hair felt strange after the first wash. Is that normal?
Yes. Expect a 2–3 wash transition while your scalp adjusts its oil production. Most people find hair settles by the fourth wash.
Can I use conditioner after?
You usually will not need one. If your hair is very dry, a little oil on the ends works better than silicone conditioner.
