Organic Shikakai Fruit Powder is 100% pure Acacia concinna — the pod that gives India its oldest hair wash. The name literally means "fruit for hair". Unlike reetha, which mainly cleans, shikakai does both jobs: it lifts dirt gently and conditions, which is why hair comes out soft rather than stripped.
Why Shikakai Works
- Naturally low pH — shikakai is mildly acidic, close to the hair's own pH, which keeps the cuticle flat and hair shiny. Most commercial shampoo is alkaline.

How to Use

Overnight method (better): soak the powder in water overnight, strain in the morning, and use the liquid. Easier to rinse and less residue.
