Natural Yellow Holi Color is made from turmeric and a natural arrowroot base — the same yellow Indian families used before synthetic dyes existed. No industrial pigment, no heavy metals, no chemical fixatives.

What Is Actually In It

• Turmeric — the colour source, and traditionally an antibacterial skin herb
• Arrowroot / corn starch — the soft, fine base that carries the colour
• Nothing else — no synthetic dye, no talc, no glitter, no fragrance

Why It Matters

Most market Holi colour is industrial dye on a talc or silica base. That is where the skin rashes, eye irritation, hair damage and stubborn staining come from — and where the water pollution after the festival comes from too.

How to Use

Apply to dry skin and hair for the best colour. Before playing, oil your skin and hair with coconut oil — this makes washing off even easier. Wear full-sleeve cotton. Use protective eyewear for children. Wash off afterwards with plain water.

Is it safe for children?

Yes — that is the main reason people buy it. Still keep it away from eyes and mouth, as with anything.

Will it stain my clothes?

Far less than chemical colour. Turmeric can leave a faint tint on white cotton, so play in older clothes.

Does it wash out of hair easily?

Yes, with plain water. Oiling your hair beforehand makes it easier still.

How is this different from cheap "herbal" gulal?

Read the ingredient list. Many products labelled herbal are still dye on a talc base. Ours is turmeric on arrowroot, and we say so.
