About this product
Organic Dry Ginger Powder (sonth or saunth) is pure Zingiber officinale, dried and milled. Dry ginger is not just a convenient version of fresh. Drying converts gingerol into shogaol, which is more warming and more potent. In Ayurveda sonth is a distinct medicine from fresh ginger, used specifically where heat is needed.
