About this product
Organic Shatavari Powder is 100% pure Asparagus racemosus root, root only, never the aerial parts. Ayurveda calls shatavari the Queen of Herbs for women, and it is the single most-used herb in classical formulations for female reproductive health across every life stage.
Note: this is not the green asparagus vegetable. Different species entirely.
Key Benefits
- Supports hormonal balance: traditionally used for irregular cycles and PMS discomfort.
- The classic postpartum tonic: traditionally given to nursing mothers as a galactagogue.
- Supports the menopause transition: traditionally used for hot flushes, mood and fatigue.
- Adaptogenic: helps the body handle stress, which is itself a major disruptor of hormonal rhythm.
- Cooling and nourishing: also traditionally used for acidity and a sensitive stomach.
- Men benefit too: traditionally used for stamina and digestive comfort.
How to Use
1 teaspoon (3–5 g) in warm milk: milk is the traditional carrier and works best for shatavari's nourishing, building action. Water or honey also work.
Once daily, morning or night. Combines traditionally with ashwagandha or amla.
Allow 6–8 weeks. Shatavari is cumulative, not fast-acting.
Available Sizes
100 g, 200 g, 500 g and 1 kg.
