Payment & Currency
We accept PayPal as well as international credit and debit cards. PayPal is usually the easiest option for customers outside India.
All prices on this website are shown in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹), including for international orders. Whichever payment method you choose, PayPal or your bank converts the amount into your local currency at their prevailing exchange rate, and that converted amount is what appears on your statement. Your bank may also apply a foreign transaction fee. This is charged by them, not by us.

Customs Duties & Import Taxes

Food, Herbal & Agricultural Product Restrictions
Several countries apply strict import rules to food, honey, ghee, herbal powders and dietary supplements. Australia, New Zealand and the United States are particularly strict.
Before ordering, please confirm that the products you want are permitted for personal import into your country. If a shipment is seized or refused entry by customs, we are unable to offer a refund for the goods or the shipping cost.

Tracking Your Order
Once your parcel is dispatched, you will receive an email with your DHL Express tracking number. You can track your shipment door-to-door on the DHL website at any time.
Packaging
International orders are packed for long-haul transit, sealed, cushioned and protected against moisture. Liquids such as ghee, honey and syrups receive additional leak-proof packing.
Damaged or Missing Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number, photographs of the product and photographs of the outer packaging. Our full terms are set out in our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

What Abhyanga Snan Is
On Narak Chaturdashi, families wake before sunrise for the ritual bath. The sequence matters: oil first, then ubtan, then bathe. The oil nourishes and loosens; the ubtan lifts it away along with dead skin. It is not just symbolic, the skin genuinely feels different afterwards, which is why the practice survived.
In many homes, the smell of sugandhi utane is Diwali morning.
What Is Inside

- Sugandhi Ubtan Powder: sandalwood, rose, orange peel, kasturi haldi and neem
- Handmade herbal soap: for the final wash

How to Perform the Ritual
- Warm the oil slightly. Massage over the whole body, working from the head downwards. Leave 15–20 minutes.
- Mix the ubtan with milk or water into a paste. Apply over the oil.
- Massage off gently in circular motions.
- Bathe with warm water and the herbal soap.

The oil massage is traditional for all ages. For babies use our Baby Bath Ubtan instead.
